Non-Industry Achievements and Accomplishments:
While becoming engulfed in bass fishing, I also owned and operated a successful auto repair shop in Pleasant Hill, CA. I’m a former ASE Mater Certified auto technician, and during my time as a shop owner/technician, I specialized in troubleshooting and repairing difficult driveability problems. My shop was a highly rated AAA and AC DelcoTech repair shop with a stellar reputation for customer service.
As a Master Technician, I often inspected vehicles for BBB, various insurance companies, and attorneys. I’ve also been called upon as an expert witness for automotive mechanical and Lemon Law issues.
While building my fishing career, I was, for a short time, a licensed insurance agent and an investment advisor with Series 6, 7, 65, 63 securities licenses. Though working in the markets was enjoyable, the sales process of becoming a successful stockbroker was not.
