The Restore the Delta organization and the California Sportfishing Protection Alliance unite for a day on the Delta for fun and fundraising, featuring a bass tournament for boaters, fly fishermen, kickboaters and kayakers.
The angling event will apply 2/3 of the tournament entry fees as a donation for education, outreach and lobbying for restoration of water flows for a healthy Delta ecosystem.
The remaining 1/3 of the cost of registration will be used for tournament payback. Additional option pools at 100% payback will be offered.
Fishermen will find that 2/3 of the cost of registration can be used as a tax deductible donation.
